DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SWITCHES TYPE IPSD

Industrial Differential Pressure Switch (IPSD–50) is an electromechanical device that senses changes in pressure difference between two pressure lines and provides electrical contact closures at predetermined values.

Pressure switch Models 201, 203, 281

Series 200 Pressure Switches is a SWITZER mainstream product range for switching upto 75 bar and includes models for vacuum, compound and millibar ranges and high overload protection.
Precision mechanisms are of stainless steel for arduous atmospheres and high humidity. Enclosures, sensing elements and switching modes can be combined to offer the variety needed to suit the demands of rapidly expanding industrial processes.
Precise and accurate operation is obtained by using time proven seamless hydraulically formed bellows. Setpoint is continuously adjustable over the instrument range. A scale is provided for approximate switch setting.

Pressure switch Model DM 600 series

This compact version of Switzer 600 series pressure switches using components of high reliability is specifically designed for OEMs such as Fire fighting, boilers, power plants, Special Purpose Machines. The sensing element stainless steel diaphragm is welded to a stainless steel housing mounted external to the weatherproof instrument housing. The mechanical movements are restricted to absolute minimum using a diaphragm which ensures long term stability.
The instrument is in pressure die cast aluminium housing which is best suited for harsh and outdoor installations. The sensing element and wetted part of stainless steel is compatible for use in process applications with air, gas, water, steam, oil and other chemicals.

Compact GH900 series pressure switches using components of high reliability is specifically designed for OEMs. The sensing element is a hydraulically formed seamless phosphor bronze or stainless steel bellows mounted external to the weatherproof switch housing. The mechanical movements are restricted to absolute minimum which ensures long term stability.
Style GH pressure die cast aluminium housing is best suited for harsh and outdoor mountings. The instrument is suitable for air, gas, water, steam, oil and several other chemicals which are compatible to copper alloys and stainless steel.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SWITCHES TYPE IPSD

IPSD Differential Pressure Switch can be used, to monitor choking of filters in a lubrication system.
High pressure bellows can be connected to the inlet of the filter and LP side bellows to the outlet of the filter. The differential can be set at desired differential pressure which is adjustable between 4.3 to 64 PSI.
As soon as the pressure difference between the inlet and the outlet increases above the set difference of pressure by 2.8 PSI, the switch will operate and changeover will take place to give a signal. It will changeover again when the difference of pressure falls to the set difference of pressure to stop the signal.

The model PSD-4 pressure switch represents the extensive further development of the PSD-30 pressure switch, itself already awarded with the “iF product design award” for its outstanding functionality. A high accuracy of 0.5 %, freely configurable output signals (PNP/NPN, 4 ... 20 mA/0 ... 10 V), the 5:1 scalability of the analogue output, in addition to outstanding self-diagnostics, make the PSD-4 an excellent automation solution.
Customised installation The installation of the PSD-4 can be flexibly adapted to the individual mounting situation. Due to the almost unlimited rotation of the digital display and case by more than 300°, the digital display can be adjusted independently of the electrical connection. The digital display can thus always be aligned to face the operator, and the M12 x 1 connection positioned to suit the desired cable routing.
High quality
During development of the WIKA switch family a high value was placed on a robust design and the selection of appropriate materials suited to machine-building applications.
For this reason the case and the threaded connection of the electrical connector are made from stainless steel. Overwinding or tearing off the connector is therefore virtually impossible.
IO-Link 1.1 With the optional output signal in accordance with the IO-Link communication standard, the PSD-4 allows a fast integration into modern automation systems. IO-Link offers simpler and faster installation, parameterisation and higher functionality for the PSD-4.

Award-winning in design and functionality
The successful design and the excellent functionality of the WIKA switch family were already confirmed by winning the “iF product design award 2009” for the PSD-30 pressure switch.
The robust LED display has been designed using 9 mm high characters (the largest possible) and with a slight incline in order to make reading the pressure as easy as possible from a long way off. A 14-segment display has been used, since it represents text very well.
The 3-key operation makes simple, intuitive menu navigation possible, with no need for additional assistance. The menu navigation conforms to the latest VDMA standard.
The VDMA standard for fluid sensors (24574-1, part 1 - pressure switches) has the aim of simplifying the use of pressure switches by standardising menu navigation and display.
The control keys have been designed as large as possible and are arranged ergonomically to ensure fast and easy adjustments. Operation without any additional assistance is made easier through the tactile feedback.

OEM compact pressure switch With settable hysteresis

Model PSM02 screw-in pressure switches in a diaphragm or piston variant open or close a circuit, depending on whether the pressure is dropping or rising. Two adjustment screws enable easy and convenient on-site setting of the required switch point and hysteresis.
Optionally, WIKA offers its customers the factory setting of switch point and hysteresis.
Model PSM02 mechanical pressure switches are employed wherever compressed air, neutral and self-lubricating fluids or neutral gases are used and a precisely set hysteresis is needed.
The high reproducibility of the switch point of ±2 % and the settability of the hysteresis makes the model PSM02 pressure switches interesting for all customers who place a value on precision as well as an attractive price.
